Originally from a small beach town in Southern California, I spent most of my career in Oakland, accumulating my 20 years of industry experience in a high-end salon. I continuously enhance my skills through online classes. Notably, I've trained at the Bumble and Bumble Academy in New York, and specialize in straight razor cutting.
I provide a safe environment free of synthetic fragrances and toxins, and use natural, eco-conscious products. My private salon is located downtown and offers broad views of stunning Bellingham Bay, in an intimate space that supports your personalized and private style experience.
I chose the name Golden West in honor to the pioneering women of the very first women's fly fishing club. This club of inspiring ladies, now in their 80s and 90s, became my mentors. The name holds a deeply personal, warm and significant meaning to me.
